CLIMB TO SUMMIT

Climbers will race up 1,100 feet in the sky to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt to highlight the importance of physical fitness for the brave FDNY firefighters, EMTs and paramedics who are always ready to respond at a moment’s notice.

This event supports the FDNY Foundation’s vital mission of advancing fire safety education, training, and providing essential equipment in order to better protect New York. Join us for this extraordinary challenge and climb alongside New York’s Bravest while contributing to a safer NYC!

2026 marks 25 years since the September 11th attacks on our city and our nation. We honor the FDNY’s heroic actions on that day, saving countless lives. This year’s climb will be a special one as we will come together to honor and remember the 343 FDNY members who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11, and the more than 400 who have since passed from 9/11-related illnesses.
